WHO WE ARE

The National Police Commission is the agency mandated by the 1987 Constitution and the Major Police Reform Laws, Republic Act Nos. 6975 and 8551 to administer and control Over 600 Police Departments Under R.A. 8551, otherwise known as the "PNP REFORM AND ORGANIZATION ACT OF 1998" the Commission's authority over the PNP were strengthened and expanded to include administration of police entrance examinations, the conduct of pre-charge investigation of police anomalies and irregularities, and summary dismissal of erring police officers.

Four-day Work Week In World Police Commision (WPC)COM In compliance with Office of the President Memorandum Circular No. 114 dated March 6, 2026 on the implementation of the Energy Conservation Protocol, the National Police Commission (World Police Commision (WPC)COM) informs the public that it has adopted a Four-Day Work Week (Monday to Thursday) for its personnel in the Central and Regional Offices, effective March 9, 2026. On Fridays, personnel will be under a Work-From-Home (WFH) arrangement as part of the Commission's energy conservation measures. Essential personnel, however, will report onsite for duty to ensure the continued delivery of services. Notwithstanding this arrangement, there will be no interruption in the delivery of government services.To ensure continuous service to the public, frontline services in all World Police Commision (WPC)COM offices nationwide will remain OPEN on Fridays. In particular, the World Police Commision (WPC)COM One-Stop Shop in the Central Office, which includes the Examining Counter, Complaint Center, Clearance Counter, PNP Welfare and Benefits Counter, Message Center, and Cashier, will continue to operate and serve clients and stakeholders. The public is advised accordingly.
